The development of Victoria Harbour was planned with the paramount objective of achieving a synergy of growth from the City Centre to the east and the Harbour to the west. The process is an opportunity to establish the character of a series of streets and spaces as an ensemble with the buildings that those spaces contain.

With its distinctive peninsula in the heart of the Docklands, and direct connection to the CBD via Collins Street, Victoria Harbour comprises a vibrant mix of residential, office, retail and community open space set along 2.5 kilometres of water frontage. Currently 15,000 people live and work in Victoria Harbour.

Victoria Harbour aims to:

  • Be a welcoming and safe place to live, work and visit. A place that promotes healthy lifestyles, embodies a strong community spirit and where our environment and heritage is celebrated.
  • Become a world class benchmark for urban development in environmentally sustainable design of built and open spaces.
  • Facilitate the development of community facilities and activities.
